THURSDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER 2020

TEXT: PHILIPPIANS 2:1-4

TOPIC: DO NOT PUSH YOUR WAY TO THE TOP 

KEY VERSE : Phi 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

               Jesus followed the path of humility to the fulfillment of his destiny. He was not selfish about it, he emphasizes that the pathway to greatness is through selfless service to humanity without expecting anything in return. His lifestyle modelled practical way to be great in this world without getting entangled with worldliness. 

             Some are desperate about their ambition, they can do "anything" to get there. Do not step on people to fulfill your ambition, Do not use people to get to the top and eventually drop them when you get there. It is evil. Take heed so that in pursuing your ambition you do not become selfish. No ambition is worth pursuing if it will inflict pains and bitterness on others. 

Prayer: Father help me to guide against selfishness in the pursuit of life ambitions in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
