TEXT: MATTHEW 7: 24-27 

TOPIC: BE A WISE BUILDER 

KEY VERSE: Matthew 7:24

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 

               There are two builders, the wise and the foolish builder. The foolish builder did not take his time to dig through the soil before erecting a foundation, eventhough he uses best materials, the building will crumbles when the storm comes but the wise builder is smart, he spent extra time digging through the soil before laying the foundation and erecting a house. Such a house will not crumble when storm comes. 

              Jesus uses the allegory of wise and foolish builder to round off his teaching on the mount, To build on a solid rock means to be a hearing and doing Christian while the one that builds on a sand also hear the word of God but fail to put it into practice. Both audience seem to be fine until when challenges of Life come, a moment of test, they ignore the word and they fail while the wise builder trust in the word of God and they stand tall in the midst of challenges and trials of life. You can claim to be a Christian now but time will always tell whether you will stand or not when face with trials of life. 

Prayer: Father help me to trust and obey your word at all times in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
