You cannot serve God and riches

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD

TEXT: MATTHEW 6: 24

TOPIC: YOU CANNOT SERVE GOD AND RICHES

         You cannot serve two masters at a time faithfully without defaulting. This connotes that you can only have one master. We live in a materialistic world where  some people can do anything to get wealth . They lived all their lives storing wealth only to leave it behind.    Their love and desire for money far more exceed their commitment to their God and the salvation of their soul. 

        Whatever you store up, you will spend much of your time and energy thinking about. Whatever occupies more of your thoughts, time and efforts is your master. If riches increase, do not let it possess you or drive you out of the purpose of God. God alone deserves to be our master, we should serve him with all our possessions and should not allow the pursuit of wealth to make us deny our ultimate allegiance to God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus possess me and do not allow my possessions to possess me in Jesus name.

The LORD is in his sanctuary (3)

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
