Lay up treasure in heaven

TEXT: MATTHEW 6 : 19 - 21

TOPIC: LAY UP TREASURE IN HEAVEN

KEY VERSE : Matthew 6:20

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

            "what I hoard, I lose; but what I give, I keep" whatever you do on earth to advance the kingdom of God is laying up treasure in heaven. God will not owe any man he will surely reward everyone according to his deeds

          Jesus Christ made it clear that having the wrong treasures leads to our heart being at the wrong place. Whatever we treasure the most, controls us. We cannot take our earthly treasure with us, but we can send them on ahead by sharing with others in need and supporting kingdom work. If your riches are here on earth, your heart will be bound to the world system. If your riches are in heaven, you will seek those things which are above and use the things of this world for the glory of God.

Prayer: Father help me to lay up treasure in heaven and help me to seek you always in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
