Adultery is of the heart

TEXT: MATTHEW 5: 27- 30

TOPIC: ADULTERY IS OF THE HEART

KEY VERSE:Matthew 5:28

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

                The seventh commandment of the Old Testament law said that it is wrong for a person to have sex with someone other than his or her spouse. The Pharisees defined adultery as the act itself probably they thought God did not see what is going on in the heart of man.

               Jesus said the desire to have sex with someone other than your spouse is heart adultery and it is a sin. The intention is wrong if the act is wrong. Adultery is easy to commit no thanks to books, magazines, television and indecent dressing. The battle field is at the mind, You can control what the eyes see or what the hand touches. Failure to control at the mind may result to adultery.

Prayer: Father help me to exercise control on my mind in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
