TEMPERANCE IS CONTROL OVER YOUR TONGUE

TEXT: JAMES 3: 1-12
Topic: TEMPERANCE IS CONTROL OVER YOUR TONGUE 
KEY VERSE: For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole BODY. James 3:2
          Temperance is Control over your tongue. Temperance is knowing what to say and not what to say. Temperance is saying the right words at the right time. Inability to master our tongue lead to gossiping, putting others down, complaining, exaggerating, false teaching, babbling.
           Inability to master the tongue can lead to damage, the uncontrolled tongue can do terrible damage just like a flame of fire. Idle and hateful words can separate families, friendships, countries by spreading destruction. A few words spoken in anger can destroy relationships that have taken years to build. Words are like fire once it is spoken, it cannot be reversed again. No human being can tame the tongue, except through the Holy Spirit who teaches us to learn and exhibit self control. 
              Have your tongue often lead you into trouble? Run to Christ today, confess your inadequacies to him and the Holy Spirit will possess you with great power to check and control what you say to the extent that when we are hurt, the Holy Spirit will remind us of God's love and you will not respond in a bitter way. The Holy Spirit will also help you to resist the critics when you are dragged, he will heal the hurt and help you not to lash out in anger. 
Prayer: Father strengthen my spirit so that I can put my tongue under check and control in Jesus name.

Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
