Text:  Genesis 12: 1-3
Topic: Where do you place your faith? 
Key verse: The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. Genesis 12:1 
            Faith is believing in God, it is holding God for what he says, faith is depending on God based on our relationship with him. Faith is total dependence on God and his word. Every man born of woman have faith in something but only faith in God that does not fail and attract blessings. 
             God told Abraham to leave Ur and go to the Land where he would show him. Abraham believed and he set out for the journey. He did not know where he was going, he was leaving certainty for uncertainty but he was assured and confident within him that God had something better for him.Abraham obeyed God because he recognized God's voice, he had a relationship with him and he knew that God can be trusted. He simply held God for his words.
             Faith is not just in believing but also in actions. Faith without actions is dead. Abraham believed God, the only way we know that he have faith is that he obeyed God's instructions by stepping out. That stepping out is the action that proved his faith. Where is your faith? Is your faith in God or in other gods. Only faith in God can save. 
Prayer: Father help me to put my faith in you in Jesus name

The LORD is in his sanctuary (3)

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
