Topic: Thomas also doubted
Text: John 20: 24-29
Golden Text: ..  "unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hands into his side, I will not believe it" John 20:25
Seeing is believing but faith is believing without seeing with your physical eyes. Without faith it is impossible to please the Lord, the just shall be lived by faith and not by happenings around them.
Thomas was highly practical, when his colleagues told him that they have seen Jesus, he didn't believe, eventhough Jesus told told them that he would rise again after his death, he chose not to believe because before then no man had died, rose on his own, continue to live and he said "unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hands into his side, I will not believe it" Jesus knew this, he was not hard on him, he appeared again so that his doubts could strengthen his faith. At this he believed, his faith deepened but Jesus affirmed the necessity of believing without seeing because it is paramount in walking with God.
Have your present situation made you doubt God? Even when God told you " I will make a way for you" You chose not to believe because you have suffered great defeats and presently distressed. The good LORD will appear in that situation, make a way for you, heal your doubts and restore you fully to his presence.
Prayer : Lord appear in my situation and heal my doubts in Jesus name.
