Beware of covetousness

Topic: Beware of covetousness
Text: Luke12: 13-15
Golden Text: ... Take heed and beware of covetousness. Luke 12:15
  We are in the dispensation where people place too much value on materials and possessions. People talk about richest pastor,richest footballer, richest man and measure success in life in terms of wealthand material acquisition.
  Jesus is saying beware in our text today, what is the essence of acquiring wealth when others around you are suffering, it is high time we guarded against all forms of greed. Jesus Christ stressed it and emphasized it over and over that a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. Let us be watchful if we are treading on the path of the rich fool who thought that he had all  the wealth to settle him for the rest of his life and God had to take his life to teach him that life is not in acquiring riches and wealth but honoring God the one who had given him power to make wealth. Remember the word of God that if wealth increase do not set your mind on them but on God who has given you.
Prayer: Lord Jesus help me to honour you with my possessions in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
