Be Pruned

Topic: Be pruned
Text: John 15: 1-4
Memory verse:... While every branch that does not bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. John 15:2
The absence of a Gardner is easily seen in a garden where the trees are wild and are overgrown. A garden without a Gardner to prune will soon become a forest.
In the Christian faith today we have some Christians that are wild because they refused the pruning of the Holy Spirit. This set of Christians are careless, they live their lives as it pleases them, they are no longer witnessing because the kind of life they live now is questionable. They have lost their first love for God and their love for the things of God is cold. Worldliness is gradually creeping into their lives and yet they claim to be a Christian. These set of Christians are wild in the hand of God, they are unbroken and God find it so difficult to use them for his purpose. These set of Christians need to be pruned. To be pruned is to allow the word of God to purge you and cut away every form of Worldliness away from you so that you can bear more fruits for him.
Prayer: Lord prune me so that I can bear more fruits for you in Jesus name
