Topic: Being a good man is not enough
Text: Acts 10:1-8
Memory verse:... Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. Acts 10:4
  A story was told of a notorious criminal in western Europe who had lived a wild life in a city, after some years, he had a change of mind and went to another city, living a good life and helping the poor and the needy. After many years,detectives tracked him down, he told them he has been a good man, faithful husband, faithful father and responsible citizen. There was a uproar among the residents, the detectives revealed pictures of when he was a deadly criminal , they were amazed as the detectives handcuffed him and dragged him away.
     Being a good man is not enough to take you to heaven because devil will later hunt you with your past. Your change is not yet change until you have an encounter with Jesus, give your life to him, he will forgive you, and cancel all debt and sins with assurance of a new life. Cornelius good works was not enough until God's mercies located him, the man in the story thought he could have a change of mind on his own but devil blew the whistle for him. Only God is good, and your good is not good until you know Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Lord help me to know that I can not save myself except you save me in Jesus name

In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
