Topic: Discipline your children
Text: 1 Samuel 2:27- 36
Golden text: wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me. 1 Samuel 2:29
Spare the rod, spoil the child. Discipline is inevitable in training up a child. You can only train up a child but not adult.
 The sin of Eli was that he did not exercise discipline on his children for treating God's sacrifice with contempt. God expected him to execute due judgement on them but he refused expecting God to do what he could have done. This made God to pronounce generational curse on him. Procreation come with responsibilities and part of it is exercising discipline on the children God has given you. Disciplining your children does not mean you hate them but you love them and the results of doing so is great. You save yourself and your family from God's anger when you exercise discipline on your children. Learn from Eli and discipline your children.
Prayer: Lord Jesus help me to discipline my children when it is necessary in Jesus name

TOPIC: THE LORD IS IN HIS SANCTUARY (3)            The presence of God makes a difference between a church and any other place. In God’s presence there is peace, deliverance, and fullness of Joy. In the old Testament, men of faith often raise up an altar to symbolize his presence and praise him there. The church is the modern day temple where there are altars set up to meet God. No one can come to God’s presence and return empty handed.          Many a times when people come to church without experiencing a touch, it is because they do not come with expectations of receiving from God. Your vision will speak

 DAILY INSIGHT WITH GOD SATURDAY 4TH JANUARY, 2025 TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 [3]For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. TOPIC: YOUR VISION WILL SPEAK          Vision is time bound. Writing down of vision, planning, setting out to fulfill the goals are all processes that are necessary before vision can become a reality.        Your vision will definitely speak, if only you can wait for it. Great things do not usually happen suddenly. There is a moment to plant, watered and patiently wait for it to germinate. The bigger the vision, the bigger the time it would take to become a reality. Do not give up on your vision , it will speak at the appropriate time. Prayer: Father help me to patiently wait for me vision to become a reality in Jesus name.
